Board Member’s Spotlight: Beth Sanders

Meet Beth Sanders: A Champion of Connection and Compassion ✨

Discover the inspiring journey of Beth Sanders, a Compass Rose International Board Director whose leadership and dedication are driving meaningful change for girls in Colorado and Nepal. 🌍❤️

As a Chief of Staff and EOS Integrator, Beth serves as the glue that holds teams and strategies together. She excels at connecting dots, leading proactively, solving problems, and turning ideas into action. Her ability to align vision and execution makes her an invaluable leader and advocate.

Beth’s commitment to compassion was ignited during a transformative year when she supported a refugee from Burma. She helped her learn English, read street signs, understand mail, and communicate with her children’s school. This functional yet deeply personal bond taught Beth the profound impact of showing up for others and sparked her lifelong passion for supporting those in need.

What do people often thank you for?

People often thank me for Re-stating what was in their head, but didn’t have words for. I can see a need before others and help fill that need or find the right resource to do so.

What do you see as your place or purpose in life? How did you come to that conclusion?

I love to help others. When others match my kindness with effort of their own and thankfulness, I feel deeply rewarded.

What's your favorite aspect about being on the Board of Directors and volunteering? and what are your current duties?

Currently, I’m a member at large. I’m helping to advise on strategy, finances, operations, and marketing. I’m also an advocate and creating awareness.

If Compass Rose International were to be on the cover of your favorite magazine in five years, what would the story be about?

Oprah would be telling the world how important this global cause is and how each individual can make a difference. It’s a global problem. So the whole world needs to be a team and do our part to act.

What do you feel have been the important successes in your life? The frustrations?

Effort, persistence.

What would be your advice to younger generations about learning causes, getting involved, and doing something about it?

Volunteering is for everyone. Not just upper class. We can all contribute. We all have unique talents so we need everyone’s help.

What do you wish everyone knew about this cause?

Children are vulnerable. Mother’s are making awful scarring decisions to give up one kid to save others.
