What do people often thank you for?

People have shared with me appreciation for my sincere intention to be an authentic servant leader and for showing up during some intensely difficult times.

What do you see as your place or purpose in life? How did you come to that conclusion?

I hope to leave the world a bit better than I found it.

What's your favorite aspect about being on the Board of Directors and volunteering? and what are your current duties?

I am the Program Chairperson. I love the opportunities to impact both locally and globally in areas that are so important, human trafficking and mental health.

If Compass Rose International were to be on the cover of your favorite magazine in five years, what would the story be about?

Improving mental health and eliminating human trafficking.

What do you feel have been the important successes in your life? The frustrations?

I have high expectations. It’s wonderful in that it helps me and others around me rise to the occasion in many circumstances. It can be a bit of an annoyance at times, as rest and play are also important aspects of the human experience.

What would be your advice to younger generations about learning causes, getting involved, and doing something about it?

I truly believe becoming involved in the greater good in a way that lights you up inside is one of the very best feelings and activities one can engage in.

What do you wish everyone knew about this cause?

It has a good heart and aims to do well locally and globally.
