What is your earliest memory of giving?

My earliest memory of giving is volunteering for the Surfrider Foundation in San Clemente, California, where my efforts contributed to protecting and preserving our oceans and marine life.

What do people often thank you for?

People often thank me for my hard work and dedication.

What do you feel have been the important successes in your life? The frustrations?

The most important successes in my life came from opportunities to learn, work, grow, and be of service. Through my most frustrating moments, I have created the fuel that keeps my passion burning. My journey has been profoundly shaped by the immense support from remarkable individuals. Their presence has truly made all the difference. While navigating my mental health challenges was no easy feat and one of my biggest frustrations in life, discovering the right support transformed my life experience. I’m now driven by a deep desire to give back, much like those who gave to me.

How did you first hear about Compass Rose International (formally Global Orphan Prevention) and why do you care about the mission?

I heard about the organization during a university research project. I was looking for an organization that focused on anti-human trafficking efforts. After learning more about the organization and selecting it for my semester project, I eagerly applied to volunteer as soon as the opportunity presented itself.

If you were talking to someone else about giving to Compass Rose International, what would you tell them?

I’ve witnessed the positive changes and growth these girls experience through Compass Rose International’s efforts. Knowing that my contributions support their well-being and development is incredibly rewarding. It’s a cause that truly transforms lives and is worth investing in.

If Compass Rose International were to be on the cover of your favorite magazine in five years, what would the story be about?

The headline would be about how much Compass Rose International has grown and its fantastic work both here and overseas. I’d love to see it showcasing their expanded reach and the new projects they’ve taken on.

What would be your advice to younger generations about learning causes, getting involved, and doing something about it?

Immerse yourself fully. Absorb knowledge, embrace new experiences, and continually evolve. Don’t just wait for an opportunity to make a difference—actively seek it out. In a world filled with opportunity, strive to extend those same opportunities to others. Whenever you spot someone in need of a lift or assistance, step forward. Each act of kindness improves the world around us.

Anything else you want to tell us?

I am deeply committed to making a difference in the lives of others, especially young women and girls who face significant challenges. My journey through the legal field and my personal experiences have taught me the power of resilience and the importance of giving back. I envision a future where every girl has the opportunity to thrive and achieve her dreams. I am dedicated to playing a part in making that vision a reality through my work with Compass Rose International. Your support helps turn this vision into a reality, one step at a time.
