Since 2006, Katie’s travels to twenty-eight countries and six continents have inspired her to help create positive change by being of service to those living in poverty and struggling in the developing world. For her hard and inspiring work, she was awarded as a Millennial Week’s Changemaker of the Year. Her humanitarian work has been featured on the Chicago ABC Morning Show, NBC’s Colorado & Company, FOX31, Women of Denver, Impact Founder, and in various media outlets. Katie is an inspirational keynote speaker, workshop facilitator, and aspiring author on the side. She holds a Master’s in Education (M.Ed) with teaching credentials, and a Bachelor’s in (B.A.) n Mass Communications with a concentration in TV Production and Public Relations. Katie donated her salary to the charity for the first seven years in operation, and  she is currently donating her salary once again for the duration of the COVID pandemic.
